Val Kilmer visiting Tombstone, Ariz. for Old West-themed event

He will also meet with fans and attend a birthday party for Holliday but he won’t participate in any gunfight re-enactments. Corral involving Holliday and Wyatt Earp. Val Kilmer is heading to Tombstone, Ariz. for an event to celebrate the life of Doc Holliday. Kilmer will participate in several events at Doc Holli-Days this weekend, including riding in a horse-drawn stagecoach while serving as grand marshal in a parade. The mines shut down years ago, but the town near the U.S.-Mexico border remains a popular tourist destination. The actor famously portrayed the gunslinger in the 1993 movie Tombstone.
